Michigan State University's College of Human Medicine chooses certain students to focus on underserved populations during their clinical experiences. This certificate program is called Leadership in Medicine for the Underserved (LMU).

This blog details experiences of the students traveling abroad to serve underserved populations, bringing them their gifts and talents, and to bring home messages of hope amidst adversity.
